The Hague, 30th January 2025 – The appointment of Jörg-Michael Weber as Chief Operating Officer (COO) will help strengthen RESONIKS commitment to innovative quality control as they deploy their new standardised testing system to customers across Europe. Simultaneously, Isaac Kargar will step down from his role as Chief AI Officer (CAIO) to take an advisory role.
Before joining RESONIKS, Weber founded Excellion, where he served as CEO and developed aerospace batteries for satellites, launchers, and drones. Before that, he worked as a mechanical design and test engineer at Lilium, a German startup focused on developing eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft with a specialisation in battery safety.
Jörg’s leadership will be instrumental in helping us meet the rising demand for our solution while continuing to deliver the operational excellence that sets RESONIKS apart.”
In his new role as COO, Weber will be responsible for establishing scalable operational processes to ensure streamlined feasibility studies and system deliveries. Primarily based in Munich, Weber will be supporting all teams across the company’s international operations.
In addition, RESONIKS announces that Kargar will be transitioning from his position as Chief AI Officer. Kargar’s contributions over the past two years have been a key factor in shaping the company’s AI strategies, particularly in integrating AI with acoustic testing methods.
While Kargar steps back from day-to-day responsibilities, he will continue to guide in an advisory capacity, ensuring his vision and technical expertise remain part of RESONIKS’ ongoing success.

Looking Ahead
RESONIKS was founded to address a critical gap in manufacturing by helping quality assurance keep pace with rapid advancements in production. In today’s environment, rising costs and labor shortages are driving the need for innovative solutions that can streamline processes and reduce operational risks. While manufacturers are making strides in automating production, quality control has traditionally lagged behind, causing bottlenecks and potential risks.
As RESONIKS moves into its next phase of growth, the leadership team remains focused on continuing to innovate in ways that provide value to manufacturers. From enhancing in-line quality control processes to expanding the capabilities of AI-driven acoustic testing, RESONIKS is well-positioned to drive change in an industry where precision and reliability are paramount.
Through these leadership changes and continued advancements, RESONIKS will remain a trusted partner for manufacturers looking to reduce defects, cut costs, and improve operational efficiency.
