This exclusive event brought together 30 cutting-edge tech startups and 23 (inter)national investors, creating a dynamic platform for fruitful collaborations and future investments.
The dinner was designed to foster meaningful and targeted discussions. To achieve this, participants were seated strategically to align investors with startups whose industries or interests matched their own. This deliberate seating arrangement allowed for productive, focused conversations, ensuring that both parties could explore synergies in an intimate, relaxed setting.
In addition to that, we asked investors to pitch their companies on stage, which allowed them to elaborate on their focus as investors.
One of the unique aspects of the evening was the rotating one-on-one matchups during each course of the meal. This format allowed startups and investors to connect with several counterparts over the course of the evening, resulting in more personalized discussions than typically possible at larger, less focused networking events.
The dinner was a great setting to meet investors from within and outside the YES!Delft ecosystem. I particularly enjoyed the format with a different 1-on-1 match at every course. This allowed for a relaxed conversation in which there was an opportunity to deep-dive into parts of the vision and strategy that normally don’t make it in a pitch at a networking event. –
