- Entrepreneur in residence
Introduction
Duke is an entrepreneurial veteran. As a student, Duke started his software company in the early days of Personal Computing. The company grew into a multinational software supplier of Laboratory Information Systems, and was sold to a US multinational. Since then he has participated and/or invested in several start-ups and spin-out companies, some very successful, a single one a blatant misery. In 2010 he became Entrepreneur in Residence within YES!Delft. Since 2015, Duke is quartermaster, founder and finally first chairman for the social part of CIC-Rotterdam: the Venture Café: an innovation community that attracts 200-300 innovators every Thursday.
